Solitude

Considered one of the masterpieces of Catalan literature of all time, Solitud narrates the life and spiritual journey of Mila, a woman dissatisfied with her marriage, who must follow her husband to take care of a hermitage on a solitary and rugged mountain.

With a lively, rich, and expressive language, and contrasting the reality of the valleys with the idealism of the mountain, the protagonist begins a process of self-discovery that will lead her to find herself and to discover in solitude the strength to break free from her everyday world and change her life.
