| Reviews | What hides behind the case of a young Nigerian woman murdered in a voodoo ritual? A corrupt policeman. A journalist who finds herself up against the ropes. A city caught in the shadows of voodoo and sexual trafficking. La nit de Damballah is a brisk, relentless thriller that dives into society’s ethical deterioration and the darkest corners of religion and human weakness and, above all, pulls the reader into a terrifying reality. |
